Bomin Group Appoints New Vice President for US Operations

The Bomin Group, a leading global physical supplier and trader of marine fuel oil, today announced that it has appointed Chris Nelson as its new Vice President for Supply and Operations in North America.

Based out of Bomin’s Houston office, Chris Nelson will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day supply and operations for the Bomin Group’s supply chain in North America. He will ensure that the highest standards and quality of products and services are provided, as well as maximizing levels of operational efficiency within the bunkering process for customers. He will also focus on further building quality relationships with customers and partners, and working closely with the senior team to drive growth and development in the region in line with the Group’s expansion strategy.

Chris Nelson has a wealth of experience within the bunkering industry having worked for SK Energy Americas Inc, PetroChina International (America) Inc, Chevron, as well as OceanConnect. He also has an MBA from the University of Houston.

Bomin has an established physical supply infrastructure, as well as trading services that cover key areas in North America and Panama. This includes Houston, where the company is also the exclusive ex-pipe supplier at the Enterprise Houston and Beaumont Terminals in Texas, Norfolk, New Orleans, as well as all out of port locations in Panama.
