Bomin Strengthens Regional Hub Structure
The regional hubs are located in Hamburg, Houston, Dubai and Singapore. They support the company’s offices and operations across Europe, the Americas, Middle East & Africa and Asia. The hubs will ensure global alignment, highest service quality and cost-effective fuel supply solutions in line with customer needs.
As part of this strategy, Bomin is closing its office in Rio de Janeiro, while continuing to serve its customers from the Houston hub as from January 2017. The company will also suspend its physical operations in Estonia and Spain and close its offices in Tallinn and Madrid, with customers being serviced from the Hamburg hub as from January 2017. These measures safeguard the implementation of Bomin’s strategy for delivering long-term and sustainable growth for the business.
Thomas Roller, Managing Director of Bomin, states: “Strengthening our regional hub structure enables closer customer relationships. It allows us to better support our customers by providing universal quality and service standards in every physical supply and trading operation worldwide. Ship owners need a solution-driven approach to fuel supply. The changes we have made will ensure that Bomin is well prepared to master the challenges of the upcoming IMO regulations in 2020.”
